The Office of Compliance and Policy reports to the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor and is responsible for coordinating and managing the UC Davis compliance committee structure and annual compliance plan. The unit, headed by Chief Compliance Officer Wendi Delmendo, has primary responsibility for:

• Ensuring campus compliance with:
  • Title IX of the Education Act,
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act,
  • The Clery Act, and
  • Affirmative action regulations
• Oversight of responses to complaints involving:
  • sexual violence and sexual harassment,
  • discrimination and bias,
  • civilian complaints against police officers, and
  • complaints made under the UC system-wide Whistleblower and Whistleblower Protection policies
• Management of the campus Policy and Procedures Manual, Personnel Policies for Staff Members, and Delegations of Authority
• Management of the privacy program for the UC Davis campus
